Bio

Completing my double major in anthropology and philosophy degree from the University of Maine in Spring 2026, my experience has been multidisciplinary.

I serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Maine’s student newspaper, where I lead a team of writers, reporters, and editors in producing community-focused journalism. I have reintroduced a weekly print publication after a five-year hiatus and integrated multimedia efforts into our content, allowing us to bridge the gap between physical newsprint and virtual storytelling. This has strengthened my reporting instincts and sharpened my desire for ethical and accessible media.
Being involved in archaeology has sent me abroad to work in international contexts. I have had the opportunity to excavate in Greece, Cyprus, and Italy. With strong mentorship from my advisor, I was able to take on an ethnographic research project where I studied landscape design and archaeology in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Artistic expression is important to me, and in creative pursuits, I have a radio segment on WMEB 91.9fm, write fiction nearly daily, and work on independent film projects.
